Trans and non-binary folks! Ever wanted to learn the basics of makeup, pick up new techniques, or get help figuring out products you already own? Join us for a fun, hands-on Makeup Crash Course hosted by Marty's Closet!

We'll kick off the day with lunch and time to get to know one another before diving into an afternoon of learning, practicing, and building confidence together.

This event is open to anyone interested in learning more about makeup in a supportive, affirming environment. Space will be limited, so be sure to sign up!

It’s D&D 4th Wednesdays! Every fourth Wednesday of the month we’ll have a Dungeon Master at drop-in hours, ready to lead you on an adventure! Don’t worry if you’ve never played before, they’ll make sure that it is beginner-friendly. Plus you will not have to be present every single time in order to participate, you can join in at any time.
One session starts at 5pm, and another session starts at 6:30pm.

Career Connections Club

Join us at the Prism Center with career coach, Jenesis Long, to gain helpful tools and advice on your career, job search, or educational goals. This is an 18+ event for anyone in the LGBTQIA2S+ community.

What to Expect: An hour long session moderated by Jenesis. This month's session will be all about resumes! Please bring a laptop or a printed version of your resume. You can also use our printer on the day of the event to print your resume if you don't have access to a laptop or printer!

Here's a little about Jenesis and the work she does! 

Jenesis Rose Long, Ed.M., is an Iranian-American career and business development coach who helps neurodivergent professionals create sustainable, aligned career paths. She has coached hundreds of individual clients and dozens of complex teams through her own business and via jobs at universities across the country, hosts the Sustain Your Passion podcast, and works as a Marketing Automation Analyst for Midco. She co-wrote Liberationships: Critical Mentorship in Practice, and is now authoring The Neurodivergent Entrepreneur’s Journey. 

Jenesis grew up in a single-parent, first-generation, low-income household and went on to earn a Masters of Education in College Student Services Administration and an Honors Bachelor’s of Psychology, both from Oregon State University. She identifies publicly as queer, but in safe spaces shares that she is solo-polyamorous and in a lesbian partnership. She moved to Sioux Falls from Oregon just one year ago to be closer to her partner. She and her two dogs, Molly and Dunkin' enjoy slow walks in nature, reading in a hammock on a sunny day, and playing board games with friends.
